My characters fight a lot. This is partially because I, myself, love to RP fights and violence and injuries and the like. ... this is then exacerbated by the fact that my characters are dumbasses. So. This is basically a post to kinda set down a) what their abilities are, b) how they measure up against their own canon, c) how they measure up against the rest of camp, d) how resistant they are to psychics (and what you can read off them), and e) what you can do to them if the sparks start flying.

Roxas has a funny way of categorizing people at camp. Considering everything that happened in Twilight Town, he now views camp as possibly being a similar situation -- everything being faked, nobody really existing but him, with even him being not-real, etc. and so forth. A lot of people in camp are making great progress in disabusing him of this notion, but he's still very edgy about considering people in camp to be "real" to him. Don't feel bad if your character isn't on the list; Roxas is a dumb emo kid, after all. It takes him a while to come around sometimes.

Also, since I'm here: relationship meme! My characters are currently Ishida, Mal, Sorata, and Roxas.

Bart? I know you're probably getting eaten tonight, and that you probably don't trust me, but I need you to keep a secret for me.

Okay, what's your real game?

- The photograph of him, Hayner, Pence, and Olette in Twilight Town. Given to him by Sora; it's the one Sora gets from his cutscene with *SPOILER*. It's currently under his pillow.
- A small, blue crystal sphere, also given to him by Sora. He attached it to a string so that it hangs over his bed and catches the light from the window.
- Skateboard; currently lost in the springs.
- Empty ramen cup, nice and clean. Leftover from the ramen Tamaki gave him. Currently being used as a waterbowl for Vivi.
- Origami paper heart Live paper tadpole. Likes to live in his pocket.
- Kitty! ... okay, not really a possession. But it's a tiny gray runt named Vivi who either hangs out under Roxas' bed or follows him around. Also likes to perch on his chest when he sleeps at night.
- Chocolate pudding cup, unopened. Given to him by Ari. Gave this to Kyouya for Mother's Day.
- Apple pie from Boys' Cabin 10; uneaten for now.
- Two action figures, borrowed from Impulse.
- A "live" bird made for him by Francescu out of a piece of his broken laptop.
- Various photographs from Haruhi, including some of him in a dress and him as a kitten, curled up with Vivi.
- One of Hatsuharu's school shirts.
- A sparkly heartmark from Saya! It hovers above his bed next to the blue crystal.
- Drawing of himself, from Youji.
- A half-full pot of red ink and a brush, from Francescu's conjuring.
- Chart of his relationships in camp, made from pictures he drew of each person and then tied to each other with ribbons. It hangs up on the wall.
- An Axel figurine, from the camp store.

I make this list 'cause. Possessions are rather important to Roxas, all things considered. If he gets more photographs, he's going to start hanging them from the ceiling above his bunk.

So! Any questions about or for any of my characters? Anything at all. Even if it's something like "how the heck do Ishida, Mal, Sorata, and Roxas fit in the same head?" As someone in IRC pointed out, I now play X!Sora and Sora!X. Haha.

Character: Roxas
Series: Kingdom Hearts II
Character Age: Appears to be fifteen or sixteen.
Warning: Spoilers for the first three hours of gameplay ahead!

Canon: Kingdom Hearts: the not-so-little crossover that could. Combining Square Enix with Disney, the game revolves around Sora, a fifteen-year-old boy chosen to wield the Keyblade. He travels through various Disney (and some original) worlds in order to find his friends, defeat the Heartless, and prevent aforementioned worlds from being plunged into darkness.

This, however, is not his story. ...or maybe it is.

In fact, Roxas' story apparently has very little to do with Sora's. He considers himself to be an average kid from Twilight Town, a sleepy world of eternal sunset. He's a nice guy, very devoted to his friends; however, he's also got some anger management issues, and tends to pursue truth with single-minded tenacity. Also, he's short. All things considered, though, he's nothing special. Likes to skateboard, eats his weight in ice cream daily, tends to pass out on the ground twitching every five minutes, etc. During the last week of his summer vacation, however, strange things begin happening to him -- including weird dreams and the sudden acquisition of a Keyblade of his own. As a result, he learns a lot of stuff that essentially amounts to one point: his life sucks.

Spoilers: In fact, Roxas was never meant to exist in the first place. He is Sora's Nobody, an empty shell formed when Sora became a Heartless. Originally, he joined up with Organization XIII, a group of particularly strong Nobodies, but a series of events brought him to DiZ, a well-meaning bastard who wiped his memories and placed him in the Matrix a fake version of Twilight Town until he could be merged into Sora. Roxas eventually discovers the truth about himself and agrees to the merge -- but not happily. His final line before giving up his existence is "Looks like my summer vacation is...over."

For example, I woke up with -- that in my hair. If I didn't know any better, I'd say it was made out of marshmallow. And possibly smoking. Trust me when I say this, Mr. Small and Purple: telling me that I am "cute," "fluffy," "the perfect height," or "all of the above" is not going to improve my mood. Perfect height for what? There is absolutely nothing wrong with having to look up at people every now and then. And it's not like it's my fault to begin with!

Secondly? I am not a postal service. It's very nice of you to offer, really, but I'm not so desperate for help that I'm gonna deliver love letters for the toucans. I can only take so many renditions of "obsidian orbs locked / each other in an eternal contest of love and malice as / loquacious edifices gyre and gimble in the wabe." If I were doing this on a skateboard, maybe. But I lost that somewhere between the gorillas and the springs. I think it turned into a girl.

Look. If this is all supposed to be some kind of joke, I'm not laughing. I know this isn't Twilight Town, and it can't be anything else I've heard of, and -- is anybody even listening to me anymore? I've got some legitimate issues here! Why am I stuck in a summer camp when --
